About Me

My academic journey began in Vancouver, Canada at Langara College. After studying there for a year, I earned a full-ride scholarship to study history at the University of British Columbia. I completed part of my undergraduate studies abroad at Bauhaus University in Weimar and at Humboldt University in Berlin before finishing my Bachelor of Arts in Honours History. I then went on to complete a fully-funded Master of Research degree (MRes) at the Warburg Institute in London and a fully-funded Master of Arts (MA) at Stanford, where I am currently a PhD candidate.

I know what it’s like to be a student: the pressure to succeed; the stress of time management; the struggle to build skillsets in writing, research, and in foreign languages. I also know what it's like to be a successful student who has earned over $750,000 CAD in scholarships and who has been accepted to prestigious institutions like Yale, Princeton, Columbia, and Stanford.

As a historian, I have spent years developing the skills to read, research, and write. I have also learned to navigate the academic world. From essays to foreign languages, college applications to scholarships, I have a wealth of knowledge that I’m ready to share with you to help you reach your academic goals.

To get us started, I would like to meet you – free of charge – for a consultation. In our consultation, we will discuss your goals, plans, strengths, and weaknesses. Then we will build you a custom education plan that will ensure you reach your goals, step by step.

My job will be to help you take those steps using innovative teaching methods, customized materials, and easy-to-follow writing and research guides. I want to prepare you with practical skills that you can use to complete assignments, personal statements, and scholarship applications. Most importantly, I want to instil you with the confidence to realize your potential.

Let’s get started!
